Repeating Patterns 1300 - 1800 | Pepin Press

This book and CD-Rom set contains a stunning collection of repeating patterns from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque period.
The earlier designs often show domestic animals and animals associated with hunting, such as dogs and deer, or mythical and fantastic beasts, such as unicorns.
The later designs are dominated by floral compositions.
All periods covered in this book include designs with a clear geometric element.
