It's a thriving hybrid of a city-decentralized with no clearly defined hub-and its architecture reflects its character.
Here is a little guide that will give tourists and professionals alike an overview of notable architecture created in LA during the last fifteen years.
More than sixty buildings by renowned architects such as Frank O.
Gehry (Walt Disney Concert Hall), Rafael Moneo (Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels), and Richard Meier (Getty Center) are profiled and over 200 color photographs and a site map are included for easy use.
